Within the frame of Stella Maris Yves Mettler's research on urban spaces called “Europe Square” develops a visual atlas of forms and equipments. Urban equipment has become a “minor” art, more and more steered by a pragmatic approach toward neutralizing urban public space. The atlas recollects forms in order to reflect the intertwining of use value and symbolic value and to support further repurposing of these space.

This feminist investigation deals with separatism in art. In maintaining that women should keep away from moments of masculine celebration, specifically in the art world, the protagonists renew Carla Lonzi’s 1970s feminist discourse, giving it more contemporary impulsion.

Since the artworks that are viewed represent naked women, made by men, the feminist indictment is visually expressed: the difference between man and woman must be affirmed, and feminist liberation begins by self-affirmation as women. Indeed, the occupation of public space by sculptures of naked women made by men is an affront to these adolescent women on the cusp of exploring the city, of their curiosity about the public domain, of their “coming out” as feminists.

The vast majority are in the family Halictidae, or "sweat bees". Colonies are typically small, with a dozen or fewer workers, on average.

Sviluppo - Parallelo è il titolo dell'esposizione che Stella Maris, unitamente alla piattaforma Radio Tramontana, stanno preparando per il Kunstmuseum di Lucerna. L'esposizione, il cui programma parte ad Ottobre 2015, trae liberamente ispirazione da due esposizioni storiche Visualisierte Denkprozesse e Processi di pensiero visualizzati. Se la prima fu un tentativo del curatore Jean-Christophe Ammann di dare un volto alla giovane scena dell'arte contemporanea svizzera, la seconda riproponeva l'Arte Povera.
